I am submitting this proposal to request community support for the recovery of 94,000 CERE tokens that I lost access to after encountering a series of security issues while managing my validator. This loss occurred despite my best efforts to secure my account and uphold the integrity of my participation in the network.

Background:

As a dedicated validator within the Cere Network ecosystem, I have consistently contributed to network security and decentralization. Recently, I encountered a critical issue while attempting to access the Explorer. My antivirus flagged the site, and I was unable to bypass the issue with a VPN.

To check on my validator and claim payouts, I temporarily disabled my firewall. Unfortunately, this led to inbound access attempts targeting my Chrome personal information and email accounts. In response, I acted swiftly to protect my data:

1. Removed the Polkadot JS app.
2. Signed out of all my email accounts.

However, during this process, I lost access to the login associated with my validator account, Akitsuki, which contained 94,000 CERE tokens. These tokens represent a substantial investment of both financial resources and effort as a validator.

I kindly request the treasury’s support to reimburse the lost tokens. This proposal is not made lightly but rather as a call for community solidarity. The incident was caused by external security vulnerabilities and a genuine effort to protect my assets and the network.

As a validator, I have actively supported the Cere Network by securing transactions, maintaining uptime, and contributing to decentralization. Losing access to my tokens threatens my ability to continue providing this value.

Reimbursing lost tokens through the treasury would demonstrate the network’s commitment to supporting validators who face challenges while securing the ecosystem.
